follow-up on [Voyage-linux] GPIO on Alix 1.D working!

hello all,

some time ago, a nice dude posted a message and some code to get GPIOs working on an alix board. the original message can be found here: http://list.voyage.hk/pipermail/voyage-linux/2009-March/011490.html

however, the provided code was only for reading (so that GPIOs actually are GPIs). has the original author (QmQ) done more work on his code, as he promised back then? I am very interested in getting outputs working.
