[Voyage-linux] Can Linux MPD client access files off Windows 7 Network?

Hello,

I recently joined the list because I am interested in building an Alix MPD voyage-linux computer to play my music files.  I'd like to build an Alix computer to use as my NFS file client which would retrieve my stored music files from my Windows 7 PC over my home network.

Is this an acceptable or advisable setup?

Appreciate the advice.
