md_mod is the module for the raid system.
The system has a 1 TB raid mounted under /home shared on my network with
both nfs and samba. It has been running fine for about a year or so.
Configuring the RAID is done with the command line. I have found no good web
tools for doing that. However once its initialized Webmin does everything
else. The flash image is almost 2GB and has very little space. It does not
boot from the RAID array.
I could send you my configuration file for building the kernel if it helps.

Hi Matt,
You can try stock debian kernel. If this makes raid work, could you also
show us the related modules (by providing
output of "lsmod") so that I will add them in the next kernel release.
