Hi Punky,
avahi-browse also showed the MPD service being published:
= eth0 IPv4 Music Player Music Player
Daemon local
hostname = [voyage.local]
address = [192.168.0.155]
port = [6600]
txt = []
I also saw the announcements being made on the network with wireshark.
Anyway, suddenly it started to work without any changes. My iphone shows
"Music Player" listed in mpod as bonjour announced service. So case closed.
Avahi (zeroconf) is working in Voyage mpd, but needs both an upgrade of mpd
to version 0.16.1-2 and avahi-daemon installed
Best regards,
Eric
