Hi Hans,
1. The MPD disabled sndfile plug-in. Somehow, re-enable the sndfile plug-in by removing the following lines may work.
decoder {
plugin "sndfile"
enabled "no"
}
2. the MPD configuration locked the output sampling rate to 44.1k 16-bit. You can try to remove "format" line like below
to make mpd auto-detect the sampling rate to see.
audio_output {
type "alsa"
name "My ALSA Device"
device "hw:0,0" # optional
# format "44100:16:2" # optional
# mixer_device "default" # optional
# mixer_control "PCM" # optional
# mixer_index "0" # optional
}
3. When playing the flac files with skips, can you send me the output of "cat /proc/asound/card0/stream0"?
Regards,
Punky
