Hello all,
I installed Voyage on a Alix 3d3.
I installed also MatchBox as window manager.
I am able to run Xterm when launching X with startx. (I put the right
command in xinitrc for that).
Now I try to configure my keyboard ans my screen resolution by setting
a xorg.conf file (in etc/X11)
but its not working.
When I look to the log (/var/log/Xorg.0.log who are mount in RAM); I
saw:
...
(==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Sun Sep 25 13:45:15 2011
(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
(==) Using system config directory "/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d"
(==) No Layout section. Using the first Screen section.
...
So it use the conf file in /etc/X11 ..
but more far:
...
(II) Power Button: Configuring as keyboard
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Power Button" (type:
KEYBOARD)
(**) Option "xkb_rules" "evdev"
(**) Option "xkb_model" "pc105"
(**) Option "xkb_layout" "us"
(II) config/udev: Adding input device USB Optical Mouse
(/dev/input/event2)
...
but this is not the input device section that I put in Xorg.conf....(I
put a 'fr' layout)
and my keyborad stay as querty..
Do you have an idea ??
Thanks
PS: I made a find command to search if there are other xorg.conf file
somewhere...but not
