[Voyage-linux] periodic glitches/popping with voyage mpd

Hi,

just bought the ALIX box with Voyage Linux version 0.8.
I setup to play music thru NAS & everything is excellent except I hear
random periodic.
 skipping/popping interrupt during music play.
My setup :
Synology NAS -> ALIX box -> SOtM USB HD(XMOS) -> Mytek 192

Is there something I need to set, I did try to change the parameters with
period_time/buffer_time but
it just makes the skipping/popping happen in a longer time/short time(I
didn't count the exact seconds).

Any advise.
