[Voyage-linux] jackd configuration

Hi everybody. I would like to properly configure jack, but I really don't
know where to start.
I'm sure I have to install it with apt-get, but then? How can I configure it
and what's the best configuration?
Moreover, how should I modify mpd.conf in order to make it work with jack?

I have a dedicated music pc with atom cpu and 2gb DDR2 and I use an onkyo
se200, perfectly compatible with alsa drivers.
