[Voyage-linux] Voyage ONE vs other Elastix and Issues

My experience comes from other Asterisk distros and sipXecs; however,
today, I wanted to find an alternative to the other packages and for use on
thin client type hardware. There is already AstLinux but the promise of
Voyage Linux / ONE captured my attention.

I installed Voyage ONE easily and without issue; however, the issue came
about on INCOMING Calls, Voice Mail, Conference Setup. VoyageONE
registered just fine with my ITSP, and I was able to make outbound calls to
any destination in the US. So the issues are:

1 - INCOMING CALLS - could not receive calls at all (busy signals). I
tried to capture similar Asterisk configuration from other Asterisk distro
I had but it still would not receive calls.

2 - Voice Mail - I created extension 97, 6300, 6301, etc and when I dialed
from my SIP phones, it would not even pick up, bad tone as if it was not a
valid destination number - I can call any of the other SIP Phones I had on
the network just fine.

3 - Conference Setup - I called the Conference bridge and also had a bad
dial tone similar to Voice Mail; as if was also not a valid extension.

These items above seems very simple with other Asterisk based distros, but
simply did not work properly or correctly in VoyageONE. I would really
like to get this VoIP platform to work instead of PIAF, Elastix, Trixbox,
and AsteriskNOW for the future, because of its low resource requirements.
Is there a better way to communicate also than mailing lists? Thank you
and I look forward for someone's guidance with this promising VoIP
platform.

By the way, is this a "commercial" grade platform for under 100 users? Or
is this just an experimental platform? Thanks again.
