Hi Punky:
First AsteriskNOW is full of bugs and security holes. Therefore,
unusable in production.
May I suggest you to have a look at Gemeinshaft4
(https://github.com/amooma/GS4) so that you can port it to voyage. The
FAQ (https://github.com/amooma/GS4/wiki/FAQ) is translated to English
at http://www.freeswitch.org/node/373. Howto on building an iso is at
https://github.com/amooma/GS4/wiki/ISO-Image-selber-bauen. However,
the developers informed in the mailing list
(https://groups.google.com/group/gs4-users/browse_thread/thread/2c175954b47a11e5)
that they have found some bugs with the build system. You can find a
current iso at http://www.amooma.de/gemeinschaft (exact link:
http://www.amooma.de/downloads/gs4/gs40-current.iso).
Maybe this would lead voyage to a very reliable distro, because it is
made to be secure even for BSI (German BSI). A presentation is
available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbGn5N_y4rw.
Just my two cents.
PS: I am no way associated with GS4 or GS* team. So no flame-war is
welcome. After years of being in voip, I felt like GS4 and later is
the future of telephony as it is based on Kamailo (formerly OpenSIPS)
as sip authentication server and FreeSWITCH as PBX. It would have been
good if voyage could deploy some secure measures like that by OWL
(openwall.org) and deploy GS4 or later. ;-)
