Hi Srini,
First, I think you should consult the original developer of the patch and ask for a working kernel version for this patch.
Second, if you think this is voyage kernel problem, you should try other kernel, e.g. vanilla kernal or debian stock
kernels.
At last, there is a mailing list for ath5k, perhaps you should raise your question there. There are loads of experts
for this driver.
