[Voyage-linux] Re: Repeated "clicks" in audio output from MPD

Hi Punky


I have just finished reconnecting the voyage MPD server using a wired 
connection.

I drilled a 6mm hole through the internal block wall between our office 
and our lounge.

I pushed a length of cat 5 cable through the hole and made off the 
RJ45's at each end. Had to hunt for the crimper, not used it for years 
and years.

Got the t.p's right first time ---- a record for me.

Powered up and it is running well, no  pops or clicks,

We will have to wait for a couple of weeks of daily usage to see if it 
is AOK now.

It does sound even better wired than with the Wifi connection!
