Reading that and a quick glimpse in /usr/local/sbin/copyfiles.sh makes
the issue obvious.
It copies '$DISTDIRPREFIX/*' which will not match on
'$DISTDIRPREFIX/.sync'
Admittingly I check this on a quite old voyage-version, might be
different in recent scripts.
