Can you confirm that you selected ALIX profile when you created the
Voyage Linux image?

With ALIX profile the grub menu is configured to show up on the
/dev/ttS0 port of the ALIX board.
I have done it on several boards w/o any issues.

/dev/ttyS0 is the console in this case; all output goes to this device.
