[Voyage-linux] Quagga on Voyage ONE 0.8.0

Hi all,
I'm new to Voyage but am really enjoying it so far.  I'm running Voyage ONE
0.8.0 on an ALIX 2 board and am having problems getting Quagga running.

I've installed via apt-get install quagga, modified /etc/quagga/daemons for
zebra=yes and ripd=yes, all others =no.

I've copied the example zebra.conf and ripd.conf files from /usr/share...
to /etc/quagga then changed permissions with:  chown quagga.quaggavty
/etc/quagga/*.conf and chmod 640 /etc/quagga/*.conf

Tried to start with:  /etc/init.d/quagga start but this fails
with: Starting Quagga daemons (prio:10): zebravty_read_config: failed to
open configuration file /etc/quagga/zebra.conf: Permission denied can't
open configuration file [/etc/quagga/zebra.conf]

Should the /etc/quagga/*.conf files be set to another user/group?  If so,
what are they?  I tried with root.root and still have the same error.  I've
managed to get quagga running properly on a Linksys WRT54G OpenWrt but
that's not Debian so the users/groups are different.
