[Voyage-linux] MPD issue?

Hello all - using Voyage MPD on an Alix 2d2 and into a Bifrost async USB
DAC. When playing a mix of 24/88.2, 16/44.1 and 24/96 files in a playlist
created on MPoD a song will occasionally start to play very distorted. Only
happens at the start of a song. Cycling the power on the DAC does not help.
Stopping the song and pressing play again cures it. Does not seem to be an
issue with playlists where all songs are the same bit and sample rate.

 

Is there anything I can try in MPD to cure this?
