[Voyage-linux] Using LPC to connect a GPS chip on Alix 3D2

I'm using this outdoor enclosure <http://www.mini-box.com/WRAP-BOX-4A2E_2> with
an Alix 3D2. I'd like to add GPS to it, but the enclosure doesn't have
enough space between the USB ports and the sides to plug anything in. Is it
possible to get a gps chip like this
<http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8234> (or
similar) and wire it to the LPC pins on the 3D2? Are those pins
even accessible in the OS?
