Hi Anthony,
What kind of ADSL box are you using?
Some of them (Orange LiveBox for example) don't send the DNS directive correctly or they don't act as a DNS forwarder correctly. The best way is to set the box in bridge mode and configure your alix with PPP.
Otherwise, it is necessary to configure another DNS server manually.
