Current Debian Wheezy kernels:
stable: 3.2.51-1
stable security: 3.2.46-1+deb7u1
stable proposed updates: 3.2.53-1
backports.org: 3.11.8-1~bpo70+1
3.11.8 backport is made available on 2013-11-29, probably after your decision to go for 3.10.11 (from 2013-09-30).
My concern is on Debian backport release schedule. 3.10 is at 3.10.24, but I don’t think Debian backports for 3.10 will become available.
I have my reasons to use a recent stable: I need a patch for IPv6 forwarding dependent on source address. It is in 3.2.52, 3.10.12 or 3.11.
I’ll check the 3.11 backport.
