[Voyage-linux] any additional packages makes the usb stick rewritable

Hi:
I installed a few packages using apt-get and now the usb stick boots
as rw. When I try to execute the remountro script, it says:
# remountro
mount: / is busy
What I am trying to do is to create a basic package and also mount all
frequently writable directories to zfs filesystems, thus separating
the OS from the data (including the openvz containers). Once I prepare
the base system, I would like to mount the / as read only.
Is there a specific way that I can achieve this in voyage?
Thanks.
