[Voyage-linux] modprobe at boot

I have build Soekris 6501 led driver for 0.8.5.  What is the correct place
to insert (modprobe) led driver at boot under Voyage ?

/etc/modprobe.d/6501.conf ?
/etc/modprobe.d/modules ?
/etc/init.d/voyage-util ?
other place ?
