[Voyage-linux] Problems with booting and initrd (Wrap 1E)

Hello!
I installed the Voyage-Linux on a Wrap 1E machine at the beginning of the
January. As this machine was in another country
I did remote update over ssh (apt-get update && apt-get upgrade) at about
the end of the January.
However this update had also a new kernel and the result was that the
machine was no more able to boot.
Now I have a physical access to this machine and am trying to get the
system working but with no success.
I rerun the update-initramfs and lilo with several options
(core_ide.nodma..., all_generic_ide, etc.) but nothing
helped. (update-initramfs and lilo seem to actually work).
The problem seems to be that the initramfs doesn't get started.
Has anyone an idea how to get this machine boot? (without the need to
reinstall everything?)
Thank you!
