Hi Joseph,

I use the following but no noise so far:
1. I stored muisc in Voyage-based DIY NAS, NFS mounted, use rsize=8192 in /etc/fstab only.
2. my music are mostly FLAC 192/24, with some FLAC & WAV 44.1/16
3. DAC interface is XMOS USB 2.0 reference board.

The kernel 3.4.67 is newer and I only see the default CPU frequency governor had changed. Try set the board to run as
full speed:

echo performance > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
echo performance > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_governor

Not sure if it could make a different.

Regards,
Punky
