[Voyage-linux] Can Voyage MPD play from a network pulseaudio source?

Am I understanding this page correctly?:

Does that page mean that I can play an audio source on my linux desktop 
(like say a youtube video) that has pulse on it and my Alix with Voyage 
mpd can play that via the network?  I'd really like to do that because 
then I could select the pulse source from my MPD client then play any 
audio on my desktop and have Voyage MPD play it via the dac.
I would like that since my DAC speakers are much better than my cheaper 
desktop speakers.

Or is that page only about pulse audio local mode (with mpd considered 
as on the same machine as the pulseaudio source)?
