Hi,
I picked up the Teac UD-H01 Dac and it has some issues with usb detection
and as well static and glitches on playback with anything above 44khz and
24 bit. Most threads I have read seem to blame it on the 24bit but I can
play 44 24 bit flac files just fine but I have the issues that I cannot
play any 96 24 bit hi res flac files they are not useable. I have read that
this code was re-written in later kernels and the problem fixed. I was
wondering if there was an easy way to build the newest stable kernel and
will it work with the current config file on the hk ftp site. if so should
I also compile with the rt patches that are separate for 3.12.2. I really
would love to get this dac working for the money it is great and it sounds
decent and it is 192/32 and it has balanced outputs at a sub 500 price
point. Thanks for the work on Voyage MPD. Ps I have played with buffere,
asound files output settings etc nothing fixes the playback when I look at
hardware parms with a suspect file playing it all looks ok except it uses
S24_3LE so I tried plughw instead of hw with no luck.
