Hi,
I'm also using a NAS to store my music played with Voyage MPD 0.9.2 but:
* I mount it using NFS (in /mnt)
* I'm using a symbolic link from /var/lib/mpd/music/Musique
to /mnt/Musique
I never had any files deleted after reboot. The NAS is a DLINK DN-320L.
