Hello all,
Im using Voyage 0.9.2 on an Alix 2d3 board.
I need to compile the module for the BMP085 sensor (also for the TMP102)
, but ran into troubles.
First of all, neither of the regular/sdk distributions would boot into
virtualbox, just hangs while loading aufs module. So can't set a dev
environment here.
Then I decided to use the board for compiling.
I installed the linux-source and the required packages and tried these
instructions:
http://list.voyage.hk/pipermail/voyage-linux/2012-November/022441.html
But after make modules_prepare it seems to be getting in a loop, as for
more than 24hrs the console displays this message once every few seconds:
scripts/kconfig/conf --silentoldconfig Kconfig
include/config/auto.conf.cmd:826: Extraneous text after `ifneq' directive
What am I missing ?
Or how can I work around to compile a single module for the running
kernel, linux-source-3.10.11-voyage ?
If I may make a suggestion, would it be possible to add more modules in
the next release ?
This distribution is targeted at using on a board with i2c included, so
adding more sensors is trivial for us.
Thanks,
Marius
