true, but I'm wondering anyway since lower level I2C modules ARE included,
just not i2c-core. Doesn't make much sense like that...

I compiled the module, started cpufrequtils and the clock dropped to 800 MHz
immediately. The CPU now runs ~ 4degC cooler.
