Hi, did you find a solution ?
Actually I am fighting to compile qcserial.c (driver for Sierra MC7710 WAN
card) for voyage.0.9.2 as a loadable driver.
Now I have similar problem as you:
When doing insmod I see in dmesg:
qcserial: version magic '3.12.9 SMP mod_unload 486 ' should be
'3.12.9-voyage SMP mod_unload 486 '
