Hello
I have troube with voyage 0.9.2. I have installed alix version this will
not boot anymore on wrap boards.
I see not any significant difference on modules running on both systems
at least not that root fs is not found.
Is initfs build without ext3 support???
I get the following error:
Begin: Loading essential drivers ...
done.
Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount ...
done.
Begin: Mounting root file system ... Begin: Running /scripts/local-top
...
done.
Begin: Waiting for root file system ... [ 15.831619] Clocksource tsc
unstable (delta = -329063624
ns)
[ 15.849287] Switching to clocksource
pit
done.
Gave up waiting for root device. Common
problems:
- Boot args (cat
/proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long
enough?)
- Check root= (did the system wait for the right
device?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls
/dev)
ALERT! /dev/block/8:5 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
What I see is that voyage-0.5 use hda where 0.9.2 use sda but this has
nothing todo with different platform :-(
I'm using lilo. Yes I need lilo ...
BTW: Booting voyage-0.5 and 0.9.2 with lilo no problem (both system on
cf card) while only on alix ...
Any hints?
