Guys,

I compiled my own version of the linux kernal for voyage and installed it so that I could have sound support. For it to work, I have to have several /dev/ nodes, such as audio, dsp, mixer, etc. I put them in /ro/dev thinking that the init scripts would copy them into the in-memory filesystem, but that is not the case. Where is the proper place to put these special device files so that they are populated when the system reboots?

Thanks,
