Hmm - I downloaded voyage-0.5.0.tar.bz2 and installed it on a 1GB CF card choosing the ALIX option. I followed exactly the README hints from the extracted package. Everything looked fine. However, when I boot my ALIX.2C3, I see console output from the alixBIOS v0.99 only - but no any output from grub and/or about booting. Whats wrong here? The serial console speed is 38400 as choosen during install. The same thing happens also with the BIOS option MFGPT enabled (must work, if disabled). Any idea? It looks so good, but just doesn't work.

I had a similar issue with two different 2 GB CF cards. They would not boot into grub when I made one big 2 GB partition. I made one smaller 512MB partition and installed onto that. All was fine after that. What size compact flash are you using?
