Here are my suggestions:<br>
1. try to re-install the distro to CF again.<br>
2. pxe boot using the live CD to see if problem repeatable<br>

host is a xubuntu Ubuntu 8.04.1 hardy.(kernel version is 2.6.24-19-generic)<br>

Excuse me but, it is important the host linux, voyage use some components of my original distro ?<br>
