Though the problem is smaller with the latest voyage kernel, the problem still exists. I got two reboots because of those "stack beacons". I even tried latest madwifi releasr (r39xx) with the same problems.<br><br>
2.6.23 from voyage 5.2 works fine with madwifi r3772, where 2.6.26 from voyage 6.1 with the same madwifi r3772 doesn't work correctly. We have to figure out what changed from 2.6.23 to 2.6.26. Unfortunately, for me the only way to get back in a 100% stable situation with my alix + atheros combination was to return to voyage 5.2<br>

</div>I can confirm that I see it on OpenWRT as well. There's something a<br>
little bit out of whack with Linux 2.6.28, madwifi and (maybe) gcc<br>
right now.<br>

I regret that I don't have time right now to look into it, I'm hoping<br>
that next week when I check out the OpenWRT tip of tree the problem<br>
will solve itself. If so, I'll report back to Punky what might have<br>
changed.<br>
