Hi I am also experiencing the same problem. What I have noticed is that this only happens on hosts which act as masters and with vtun running.
From a search I did in the net it seems to be some sort of a packet storm which utilizes the CPU hence dropping the units performance.

Even though this threat http://marc.info/?l=keepalived-devel&m=114040573028656&w=2 claims to resolve the issue I do not have the access to sourgeforge to see the mentioned script.

Hope that helps

Regards
Soteris

> Date: Sun, 22 Feb 2009 12:05:28 -0500
> From: Edwin.Whitelaw@nrvunwired.net
> To: knife@toaster.net
> Subject: Re: [Voyage-linux] Performance issue w/ALIX and 2 radios
> CC: Voyage-linux@voyage.hk
>
> Sean,
>
> Thanks for the thoughts. What percentage does your cpu get up to in top while running the tests? It would also be good to find out how much the minipci backplane in the alix will support.
> >
> > Sean
> >
>
> --
> <=+=+=+==+=+=+==+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=>
> Edwin Whitelaw, P.E.
> New River Valley Unwired, LLC
> 2200 Lonesome Dove Dr
> Christiansburg, VA 24073
> 540-239-0318
>
>
> _______________________________________________
> Voyage-linux mailing list
> Voyage-linux@list.voyage.hk
> http://list.voyage.hk/mailman/listinfo/voyage-linux

check out the rest of the Windows Live™.
