I truly am a n00B... in my smb.conf, I had turned off logging, thus the
lack of change in the log files >_< That said, I think I have
discovered the RO problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it.<br>
<br>
Line from log file:<br>
<br>
[2010/07/07 15:03:34, 0] passdb/pdb_smbpasswd.c:startsmbfilepwent(324)<br>
startsmbfilepwent_internal: failed to set 0600 permissions on
password file /etc/samba/smbpasswd. Error was Read-only file system<br>
.Unable to open passdb database.<br>
<br>
I'm fairly certain that this is the problem... Do I just add that file
to the tmp file script like I did the earlier file (/var/lib/samba)?<br>
<br>
Thanks for your patience with me thus far. I guess I'm more of a n00b
than I thought.<br>
