Hi all,<br> I am able to boot VL 0.6.5 on PC but not on my Embedded SBC (ICOP VOrtex86-sx) because It has 44pin Enhanced-IDE so it boots till the message (initramfs) and further I type cat /proc/partitions it shows no hardisks so I also tried typing ide=nodma during kernel options but even it has no effect.<br>
<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>its unlikely to make a diff for you, but </div><div><br></div><div>ide_core.nodma=0,0 # for hda</div><div><br></div><div>is needed to fix dma errors using 0.6.5 on my box (soekris net4801)</div>
<div><br></div><div> </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex;">I believe kernel compiling must be solution is it so or is there any option please forward me the Links to solve this issue<br>
