I had a similar problem. What I did is to make a script that syncs the tmp and the real fs every hour. This way if data gets lost only the last hour of data is erased (that was enough for my application)<BR>

My suggestion would be looking into /etc/init.d/voyage-sync and /etc/default/voyage-util<BR>
