</div>a) grub1: recreate one by running 'update-grub'<br>
b) grub2: it is called grub.cfg now, 'update-grub' helps as well, but<br>
editing it directly might not be a good idea. Check /etc/default/grub<br>
instead and if really needed /etc/grub.d<br>
