For me this setup is working fine with local cover art. Just a few
things to check:<br>
- The file name is case sensitive. Folder.jpg is not the same as
folder.jpg.<br>
- With mpad when loading the library and images it seems to load the
images from the other sources (or not at all if they are not
available). Only when I click on an album and press 'reload cover'
the local file is loaded. I'm sure it is just a setting somewhere
but this seems to be the way it is working out of the box for me.<br>
- Make sure the root directory for both mpd and lighttpd is the
same. Otherwise mpad and mpod will be looking in the wrong place.<br>
