Hi All<div><br></div><div>First of all thanks much for an excellent product<br><div><br></div><div>I installed Voyage MPD on a old PC. Attached a ASUS Xonar Essence ST PCI Card to it and completed the installation. I have UnRaid NAS which holds all my music collection. I mounted it using nfs and am able to successfully see the files. Now I use a Windows PC and GMPC for Windows as client and it successfully got connected. I have the following issues now</div>
<div><br></div><div>1. When I do a update database on the client end, I loose the connection to the server and the putty session also expires. I am able to go to the console of the server and see that the database is getting updated and this also pauses for a minute and resumes immediately when any key in the key board is pressed.</div>
<div>2. I live in a place where the power is not stable and hence ( after long research) found that the tmpfs needs to be synced to have the updated database etc., to be persistent. When I issue the command voyage-sync sync, I loose the connection again from the client and putty also dies</div>
<div>3. After a power failure, when I try to bring up the server the next time, it is rebooting continuously showing some error which moves so fast that Im not able to identify. Now the server is not usable state.</div><div>
<br></div><div>I believe that 1 & 2 are related to some nfs issue. My Voyage MPD server has 100 Meg Ethernet Port and my UNRaid Server uses 1 Gig Ethernet Port. Both communicate using a Gigabit Switch</div><div>When the restart happened after the power failure, the filesystem was in readwrite mode</div>
<div><br></div><div>Expecting that I would be able to spend some quality time listening to music over the weekend :)</div><div><br></div><div>Regards</div><div>Sabari</div><div><br></div></div>
