Meanwhile, the reinstall of udev worked, when I switched in another
source in sources.list<br>
The persistent -net-rules apply now, and it worked previous a
reboot.<br>
The machine does not boot through anymore, however. The boot
procedure hangs at a line 'idmapd'<br>
Both NICs of the machine are pingable, though, so the hardware,
driver and /etc/network/interfaces should be valid.<br>
SSH and local login aren't possible, though.<br>

When I unplug eth1's cable and make a hardware reset, I can boot and
login remotely and locally and all works.<br>

All a bit strange...<br>

It is not having a problem installing. It has not even
attempted the reinstall yet. It cannot download the package.
