Given that network problems are the issue, it might be easier to just download udev from <a href="http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/udev">http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/udev</a> and then install it from a usb stick manually using 'dpkg -i /path/to/package/udev_164-3_arch.deb' <br>

It is not having a problem installing. It has not even attempted the reinstall yet. It cannot download the package. Check your network settings - kjw<br>
