Hi Vladimir,

When you see [off] in the next reboot, please run the following command to unmute. Seems to me a known problem in 0.9-rc1.

amixer scontrols | sed -e 's/^Simple mixer control//' | while read line; do amixer sset "$line" unmute; done

Hi Christian,

Unfortunately I haven't found a solution to this problem yet. I did some
testing however and found that a minimally adjusted Debian live build shows
the same issue, so perhaps this is an upstream problem?

I am eager to find a solution though, because I need the PXE installation
to install 50+ boards. I'd rather not install them manually. ;) So any
input in resolving this is welcome.

Kind regards!

Hi all,
Try adding "ethdevice=eth0" to APPEND lines in /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default

- APPEND initrd=initrd.img boot=live netboot=nfs nfsroot=192.168.1.200:/live/image live-getty noautologin
all_generic_ide debug console=ttyS0,9600n8
I think this is a 'feature' of XMOS based receiver boards; mine reacts
in the same way. I placed these commands

amixer -c 0 sset 'XMOS Clock Selector',0 100% unmute
amixer -c 0 sset 'XMOS Clock Selector',1 100% unmute

in /etc/rc.local.

Punky's script is cooler. Just replace the control name with yours.
