Hi list,

I'm a newbie user with Voyage, and I have some questions regarding the
setup of watchdog/lm77 on a WRAP board. I'm testing the 0.3pre1 and
voyage-current tarball (3 Dez). I'm following the guidelines of the README
file:

<http://cvs.voyage.hk/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/voyage-custom/src/stage1/overlay_fs/README?rev=1.2>

First, the configuration of the watchdog, everything is ok with the kernel
module wd1100, but I don't have a /dev/wd, instead a /dev/watchdog:

# ls -al /dev/watchdog
crw-rw---- 1 root root 10, 130 Jan 1 2000 /dev/watchdog

Also, I noticed that a process child of the watchdog daemon is constantly
trashing (defunct):

2985 ? SLs 0:00 /usr/sbin/watchdog
 3295 ? Z 0:00 \_ [watchdog] <defunct>

Am I doing something wrong? Should I make a /dev/wd device, as described on
the README or should I use this /dev/watchdog?

Another question, the kernel modules lm77 and scx200_acb are loaded nicely
at /etc/modules but I can't read the temperature:

# cat /sys/bus/i2c/drivers/lm77/0-0048/temp1_input
cat: /sys/bus/i2c/drivers/lm77/0-0048/temp1_input: No such file or directory

Following the wiki guide on WRAP:

# cat /sys/bus/i2c/devices/0-0048/temp1_input
cat: /sys/bus/i2c/devices/0-0048/temp1_input: No such file or directory

No luck, either.

One last question, I'm trying to install the olsrd-plugins package:

voyage:~# remountrw
voyage:~# apt-get install olsrd-plugins
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package olsrd-plugins
voyage:~# apt-get install olsrd-plugin
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
olsrd-plugin: Depends: openssl (>= 0.9.6) but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

No luck, but I have the ssl library:

voyage:~# dpkg --list |grep ssl
ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-3 SSL
shared libraries

Is there any repository or teste olsrd package for this release? I'm
thinking in building a new olsrd package for the current pre voyage release.

Thankx for any help and great distro!
