Just check, /etc/modules has the following lines:
wd1100 sysctl_wd_graceful=0 sysctl_wd_timeout=30

Try setting "sysctl_wd_graceful=1" or "echo 1 >  
/proc/sys/dev/wd/graceful" to see if it can gracefully shutdown.
