Hi Mike,

You need to disable the mfgpt code and remove watchdog module.

1. Remove the line in arch/i386/kernel/Makefile
obj-y                       += geode-mfgpt.o

2. Change .config from
CONFIG_GEODE_WDT=m
to
# CONFIG_GEODE_WDT is not set

Then recompile the kernel or rebuild the kernel image.
