If all you need are standard router features like the above and you want
a web interface, DD-WRT is a good choice.
However, since you've got an Alix board, you've paid extra for the
capacity to do more once you've got the basics down. Voyage being an
entirely compatible version of Debian keeps your options open. Also,
the knowledge you pick up here will be applicable to use elsewhere on
Debian or Ubuntu.
I'm new Voyage and embedded boards myself, but knowing I'm using Debian
I'm sure I'll be able to reach my objective of setting up a wired and
wireless access point, and a file and thin client server.
