I had been hoping to stay with Linux+tools, mostly because I'm familiar 
with them and have a preference for Linux.  I started this project to 
replace the Linksys I've got (not fine-controlled enough) while not 
getting into another full Linux PC.  Additionally, it allows me to learn 
new stuff - always a good thing - and if I can eventually offload some 
other functionality (like the wireless) that means I have fewer boxes 
and less power draw.

First up is iptables/NAT, if I can get it going.  We'll see how that goes...
