The r6040 driver should be in the latest 5.0-2 voyage kernel:

http://www.voyage.hk/dists/experimental/linux/linux-image-2.6.23-486-voyage_5.0-2_i386.deb

Please note that r6040 may not be supported or maintained in the next 
voyage kernel > 2.6.23.
